Right. Remember the friend I sent some fanfiction to? Well I've just bitten the bullet and sent him a link to [livejournal.com profile] aleathiels_fics. And a long explaination (which really made me think! Good for me!).

So, if you are here and reading this: welcome. Leave me a comment to say whether you are completely horrified with me! (You can leave comments without an account because I allow anonymous comments. But let me know it's you!).

Everyone else: Hold me tight while I wait for his response! (yeah, his reaction. I've sent a link to my slash to a guy. I really must be insane!)

Oh, and in the meantime, let me pimp [livejournal.com profile] banabloom so that you can all join, read my fic and then vote for me at the end of the month so that I can win that picture! *g*

EDIT:He says he's received it. Now all I can do is wait.

EDIT ":He's online. On MSN. He's got it but he's got friends over so he's not read it yet. However he is showing his friends the Very Secret Diaries (which he had read long before I sent him anything from the fandom). So the dear boy is introducing other people to slash already. Gotta be a good sign.

Thanks for that! It was partly your confession and partly the fact that he'd already read some that prompted this. I was tired to keeping it a secret.

Right now kinda wishing I didn't. And it's the waiting that's awful. I doubt if I'll hear anything until the morning because he'll probably read everything first. He stayed up til something absurd like 4am reading my HP het before

It WILL be fine *holds your other hand*. He's your friend after all not a judgemental stranger.

My hubby actually tried to give me a plot idea in the car the other day as we passed a fire truck. It involved firemen and the kiss of life! *g* It felt a bit wierd...

Oh I've got the giggles now. Your poor hubby. At least he was trying to be helpful! That's so sweet. Tell him we love him!

Oh goodness - my husband did the same thing on the Metro one day. He hasn't even read the HP books and he turned to me and said, "You know how Margaret Thatcher brought in those replacement workers for the coal miners' strike? What if there was a magic strike and the Magic Head Guy Person brought in scabs for the Hogwarts teachers?"

I've been trying to convince him to write it, but so far no go ...
