Fic plot poll
Jan. 27th, 2009 05:17 pmPretend this is a poll (I don't have a complicated account which will allow me to post a poll. Poor student and dislike of adverts, you see)
Question: Would you be willing to read a fic with some Arthur/Morgana early on with the revelation (much later on) that Igraine was also Morgana's mother? (PS, the fic is not Arthur/Morgana overall)
Basically, on a scale of 1-10, how squicked would you be by reading this?
1 being "Hey, it's from the legends, sure, whatever" and 10 being "clicking away instantly and never reading anything you write ever again".
I know that there are people on my flist (especially in other fandoms) who aren't bothered at all by this kind of idea, and I suspect that my flist doesn't have a huge number of people likely to run screaming, but I'd like reactions all the same, before I explore this in a potentially less friendly environment.

Date: 2009-01-27 08:35 pm (UTC)I wanted to reply "Dude, only when they a)get in the way of the boylove or b)ARE GIANT CHEATING WHORES" (albeit in later life. ;) )
I think they should dispense with historical/legand/classical references and just embrace the troo luv.

Date: 2009-01-27 07:59 pm (UTC)Totally one, especially in that context. I wouldn't rank my squick-meter always at a one with incest, but in this case? Totally.
Spelling fail, oh dear. I promise I normally catch these things when I beta. LOL.
