The Classical Greek, as used by Homer, for sexual intercourse is philoteti migenai - "to mix together in love". I like that.
I have no idea how that relates to modern Greek. Anyone speak it?

(yes, I actually discovered that studying for my essay this week. Work + fics = same reading material. Can't be bad, huh?)

Yup, totally weird. Just came into my poor unprepared head like that. I mean, it wasn't even Eric, which is bizzare.

I think I need to start shooting the bunnies until I've at least caught up with the few hopping around at the moment.

That's far better than anything I've learned so far ... all they teach you when you're learning a language is the basics.

(Although I did find out that the Russian for "blow job" is literally "to play the wooden flute." Not too bad, but I like yours better!)

It's amusing that I know basically no Greek, but I know what sex is! Honestly, it came from a book about the Athenian Empire! (those Greeks...!)
