No real reason why, but I was wondering about middle names:

It's Elijah Jordan Wood, Orlando Jacob Bloom(?abundantlyqueer saw that a while ago, but now neither she nor I can trace it. It's a mystery), Viggo Peter Mortensen, Sean Mark Bean (?IMDB has his birth name as 'Shaun Mark Bean'. Anyone know anything about that?). Does anyone know any of the others?
(or confirmation of those. I know Elijah's for certain, but not the others)

Can you tell I'm avoiding revision?

The chapter title was "Jacob" and the comment "don't panic, Jacob is NOT an OMC; you know him well, and 'Jacob' is his middle name."
'Jacob' was Orlando. That's all I know.

Yeah, Sean said on the Rosie O'Donnell show as well that it was originally Shaun and he changed it--more uniform looking, you know, Sean Bean...

For some reason I thought it was Marc, with a "c", but that may just be in my brain.

About the middle names, Elijahs is correct, Orlando ~ don't think he has one. Sean is Shaun Mark ~ saw that on theonering.net and other places, I also read Viggo as Viggo Peter, but someone said it wasn't Peter that he didn't have one, so not 100% sure, the others I know Dom and Bill don't have one and Sean Astin everyone knows is Patrick. Thanks for the confirmation of Elijah's and Sean's. "Viggo Peter" is what it says on IMDB. Aparently his father's middle initial was also P. But I've not had it confirmed.

We're still trying to chase "Orlando Jacob" - as it says on the post, abundantlyqueer saw it and used it in a fic. When I asked her where she'd found it neither of use were able to trace it, although she certainly didn't make it up.

Of course Sean Patrick Astin. *hits forehead* Thanks. I'd totally forgotten that!

yeah, i've pissed away another chunk of time trying to refind this, but no joy. damnit. i suspect it may have been removed from wherever i got it (presumably because it's wrong wrong wrong). but it wasn't some kooky little girl's fansite, i generally trawl the two or three biggest sites for info.

i definitely didn't make up the 'jacob', as personally i think it's unsatifyingly like elijah's 'jordan'. i'd have gone with something killingly english and elizabethan to go with the 'orlando'. fairfax, latimer, something like that. or something norman. i never got over lord peter death wimsey. omg, there's a middle name worth hiding. imagine orli with his stubby mohawk and his forehead all wrinkly going 'man, it's pronounced DEE-ATH. it's norman, yeah?'

I knew Sean Bean's name was originally Shaun. I found this one link though where it showed his name as Shaun Behan. Don't know what that's about.
