Right. I'm going to start writing Viggorli either tonight AR (after revision) or tomorrow.

So, darling flist, which would you prefer first?

1. Colour dominated fic set during filming in NZ.

or

2. AU set on Hadrian's wall with Orlando as a Roman centurian and Viggo as a Pict. Yes I will research it. I've got the stuff. I'm a historian for chrissakes!

I'll do both at some point.

EDIT: It appears number two has crept into the lead, so I'll dig out the stuff on Roman Britain. I will still write other one too of course.

*whispers* That's what I'm studying now. We don't have major/minor subjects. It's history the whole way. Every minute of the day sometimes. I've been doing medieval but I'm taking classics next term (a whole new department to explore, whoohoo!).

and so my supervisor may end up getting slightly weird questions. But at least I'm in one of the best places in the world to get those questions answered.

Yeah, I started uni as history with an emphasis in medieval, but I slowly got more and more seduced by classics… (probably because the profs there rocked eight kinds of wonderful), until I ended with another (unplanned) degree. However, my western european barbarians class was one of my favorites. However, I don’t remember enough to be helpful at all (uni was quite a time ago for me). Memory is more of blah blah Danelaw blah blah Angles blah blah Picts…

Cambridge. You lucky dog. :) I tried to get a year abroad at Oxford and was turned down. Had to settle for tours of Oxford and Cambridge when I was at University of London.

Cambridge is gorgeous and I love it. But I've never worked harder in my life! Did you enjoy London? I have a friend there.

Well, I both loved and hated London. Most of the hate was tied up in the living situation, since they put the six international students in a house with freshers. It was my senior year, and we ended up basically being forced to babysit them. *ugh* But I loved the ability to just hop on the train, and four hours later you are backpacking through the cotswolds :) And the nightlife... and I really miss just walking around the city.

Nope, you're right. I knew what I meant but it isn't very clear. It's eight sections - for the colours of the rainbow and then one extra - each one with an emphasis on a colour. Like a woodland setting for 'green' and so on.
