I just read an article about the part Aragon played in the Hundred Years War. I read Aragon as Aragorn just about every time. Go on, admit it, you did in the first sentence I typed too!
...i also came across the name "Elijah" in a history textbook once (referring to some obscure person who i don't really care about) and i couldn't go on with the passage. I just sat there, staring at the name out of context, watching everything i know about Elijah run through my head at lightning fast speed and drooling.
I had no idea how many Orlando's there were in the world, but now they're popping up everywhere in my reading. There's even a guy called Orlando who's written a history of Russia. And I was looking at a medieval manuscript on Weds and there was an illumination of Elijah's ascension to heaven. I stared blankly at the page for so long that the librarian made a comment about the fact that it was a beautiful book and yeah it was actually. but that's not the point
