Okay, I realise that for a lot of you snow might not be that exciting. But it's snowed where I live maybe five times in my life. I'm not at home now, and it snows more in Cambridge than it does at my house, but it's still fairly rare.
Imagine my excitement as I bleary-eyed push open the curtain as I sit up in bed. There's maybe an inch and a half, but it's so beautiful. Cambridge is beautiful all the time, but right now with the sun shining on the snow-covered chapel roof and coating all the bridges and the branches on the trees...
Unfortunately it doesn't prevent the fact that I have to go to lectures, write an essay and the go rowing at 6am tomorrow (how many million layers shall I wear?). Never mind.
