It was the calm after the storm. Eomer watched his sister from the battlements.
“She seems to be getting over Aragorn,” Legolas spoke softly at his shoulder. Eomer started, he hadn’t heard the elf approach.
They watched Eowyn’s gentle interactions with Faramir, examining a horse, the woman as keen to show off her knowledge as the man. “Yes, she seems to have found a new focus. When she looks at him there is something in her eyes I’ve never seen before. She’s smitten.”
He turned to smile at Legolas and stopped short, realising the look in Eowyn’s eyes wasn’t unique.
