It’s just as well the vacuum cleaners are loud, Andy thinks, as Sean’s capable hands circle him, rolling and pulling to the rhythm already set by their colliding hips.
It’s just as well that no one will hear him scream.
And then the hands are gone, and he almost screams with the frustration, but they are back, and they are lubed with face cream and suddenly this has promise, this is more than an after-show fumble, more than ‘thanks for coming to see my play’ from and old mate.
Suddenly it’s clear. This is sex. And that’s a brilliant idea.
