Darkly Noon
Dec. 8th, 2003 04:38 pmHas anyone seen 'The Passion of Darkly Noon' (has Viggo in it)?
I know he did a painting called 'After Darkly Noon' because it's one of my favourites.
It's just I was reading the interview with Vig in Nov 30th's Sunday Times Magazine (which a friend just gave me!) and he talk about the fact that he plays a mute. So he went the entire four week shoot without speaking so as to get inside the character's head.
I love that man.
I'm also very jealous of the interviewer because it was supposed to be a one hour interview which ran on to two hours. Then he had to go, but he got her phone number, called her later when he was free and did another four hours of interview.

Date: 2003-12-10 02:34 am (UTC)In the same interview he was talking about the World Cup and couldn't remember who Brazil had played and some guy went past wearing a Brazil shirt so Vig ran after him and asked. Imagine how surprised that guy must have been!
I think I love him more because he's so different and so intense!
(I was reminded of Sir John Gielgud's comment on method acting though: "Try acting, dear boy")
