I saw Elizabethtown last night and enjoyed it more than I was expecting. I'm not a huge fan of 'girly films' and I was afraid this would fall to heavily into this category. Instead I discovered it was nicely plotted and characterised and had multiple emotional levels going on at once. A lovely surprise. :)

And bless him, Orlando is learning isn't he? He does actually continually get better and I genuinely thought he put in a pretty decent performance as Drew. I think it's time people got off his back about his looks and stopped to notice that he is developing a reasonable amount of talent too - certainly more than other some other leading men Hollywood continues to cast in films of this type.
