Feb. 28th, 2006 05:55 pmI know you are a bunch of fiction lovers, and I'd hazard a guess that a resonable number of you are history fans too.
So, I'm asking for your help. I'm writing an essay on fictional (novels, plays, film, poetry, whatever) portrayals of the Britons in Roman Britain, particularly to discussions of Hadrian's wall.
I'm not too interested in stories about Boudicca, and I know there are many of them.
Thanks, any recommendations would be gratefully received.
P.S. I started with Rosemary Sutcliff, so no need to mention Eagle of the Nineth and co.
