For our very own Viggorli Dino fan, [livejournal.com profile] dmb_dragonfly, on her very special birthday. I love you hon. Have a great day!

Title: Glint
Rating: NC17
Pairing: Viggorli
Disclaimer: So not true it’s unbelievable.
Summary: “What the fuck?” Viggo expressed my thoughts quite eloquently.
Betad by my Razzle, back in my time zone again!

AN: For Darcy on her birthday. With more than a side order of dinosaurs.
(okay, so it was meant to be the whole thing, but I got to 6600 words and just ran out of time. The second half is on its way)

Onward to the fic...

Christ, I just cried my eyes out reading this (serves me right for asking for FPS!). Someone post something cheerful - quick!

EDIT:

Actually, fuck that. I don't want to lose this feeling yet. You know how there's enjoyment of many levels (and what would I be doing in the fandom if I couldn't surround myself with this!) and yet sometimes you read something that gets deeper than that?

I can't be the only one who sometimes finds herself so absorbed in a fic that I'm practically in a trance and even when I have to stop reading, or get to the end, I'm still not completely in touch with the real world around me.

That feeling - remember watching The Fellowship of the Ring for the first time? That complete intense love and awe?

I think the first time I found it in fandom was with Stewardess's Shining One. But since then I have found a whole list of others. Fics that inspire that hang-on-just-stay-completely-motionless-and-savour-the-moment feeling.

What fics can bring that feeling out in you?
