Parody Troyfic.
May. 26th, 2004 10:33 amDue to ‘popular demand’ I have written a fic called The Capture of Paris AKA The Rape of characterisation.
Starring: Brad the Bully as Arrogant Achilles
Orlanda Bloom as Paris-Sue and
The Incredible Eric as Heroic Hector.
What? If Homer could use epithets then so can I.
Summary: How would it play out if Paris had been taken captive instead of Briseis? Plus distraught, protective older brother Hector.
For
perseph2hades and
stewardess_lotr in the hope that it might allow some laughter amongst their wails of anguish
Warning: extreme sarkiness and parody.

May. 26th, 2004 04:27 pmIn seeing it again on
finduilas_clln's journal, I just realised: I had this. I read this article. In fact, I think it was the first I came across Eric. I remember thinking: cool, this guy's going to play Hector. He's gorgeous and hehe Eric BANA playing Bruce BANNER. And that was it.
I guess it got thrown out. D'oh.

Unreel - Free film magazine I picked up today because it had Troy on the cover:
Labelled a photograph of Eric and a Trojan general as "Hector and Agamemnon".
Refered to Remus Lupin as "Harry's new teacher... who happens to be an Animagus - a wizard who has the ability to turn into a werewolf" (NO you prats, he is a werewolf).
And most unforgiveably, manages to print the sentence:
"There are problems too for the Trojan's".

May. 26th, 2004 11:07 pmGoodnight all. I'm very behind in replying to your comments and I'm sorry. I've been watching Sharpe and writing Beanslash. And now bed since the alarm is set for 5.30 again. And we've lost the sun now and it'll pour on us in the morning and rowing is miserable in the rain.
But I won't think of that. I'll dream of Richard Sharpe instead.
