Oops, I just missed a very important date. The 10th of March was the one year anniversary of this, the first time Razzle posted a fic I'd betad (it was chapter seven of Cold Antiquity if you are remotely interested).

I can't believe it's been a year.

So I just want to take a moment to tell you how much I love Razzle and how honoured I am to be her beta. From Cold Antiquity to Abuse of Power and on to Grounded via many little one-shots, it's been great.

Hon, I know I'm a busy person and I know that sometimes I don't beta as quickly as I'd like. I know that there has been one fic that sat in my inbox for a hell of a long time. Thanks for putting up with me and not discarding me in favour of someone better. Thank you for listening and taking my advice and for not being too annoyed when I miss something :P Thank you for letting me be completely honest, because if there are things I don't like I'm not afraid to tell you that.

Above all, thank you for being such a great friend. Thank you for the silly text messages that are unrelated to anything. Thank you for the phone calls when I'm bored or travelling. I miss you a lot, hon, and hope you are having a great time in Texas.

I love you and I can't begin to tell you how much more dull my LJ and, to be honest, my life would be without you. ♥

I like that we can be honest twith each other, and that we care enough that when we disagree, we can just move on. You're my brainclone and i'd be a crappier writer without you.

You are my brainclone so I'd only be half a brain without you (okay, so I know it's not how it works, but it's the sentiment that counts, right?)

Yes we can be honest and we don't argue often. But what matters is that on the occasions when we do we can put it behind us. And you let me tell you when there are problems with your fics, which is something I'd be nervous about doing for a lot of people. I don't have to get out the bubble wrap when I betaing for you.
