I know I haven't posted much fic recently so I thought I'd just give you an update on where I am with various bits and pieces so that you don't think I've forgotten you completely!

All my (currently stupidly limited) free time recently has been spent on a piece which is, I'm afraid, not for LJ. But now that is out of the way I want to do something a bit more lighthearted.

The following are in vaguely but not necessarily perfectly correct expected order:

1. Smutlet for eirien_rhovan. She knows what it is.

2. Dinosaur/palaeontology for dmb_dragonfly's birthday.

3. Balian/Baldwin KOH fic (part one). Bits are written, I just need to get beyond my conviction that it's not good enough. I'm just being stupid about it but I've re-written bits so many times that I'm not making any forward progress.

4. Next chapter of Rubies. It was nearly complete when I lost it in The Great Laptop Death. That discouraged me and has been the reason why it's taken so long to post. But it's all in my head, I've just got to type it out again.

5. Third (and final) part of Squiggles. See Rubies for what happened to it. At least it was only partly written and I didn't lose practically the whole chapter. Grr.

Other thoughts:
6. More Viggorli in space. That was fun. However the idea I have is bound to become a WIP so is on hold until I've cleared the decks a bit.

7. Two different pagan Viggorlis. One was written and went in the G.L.D. That was a Yule fic. I also have a scandinavian shamans fic I've been thinking about.

And Finally, because no, it isn't abandoned:
The rest of Borderland. On temporary hiatus because I'm planning to study Roman Britain next year as one of my Part II courses. I'm going to revive the fic now because if I write it now I will spend all of next year picking holes in it.

EDIT: I'd forgotten that I said I would try my hand at another crossover: Balian/Aragorn and/or Balian/Aragorn/Legolas. So yes, that too.

AND How could I forget: My American Girl porn. Felicity/Ben.

But yeah, I have this grand plan. Which is why I'm not letting myself work on it yet. I will talk to you about it sometime.

And the other thing that isn't on the list? One more read-through tomorrow of a certain fic I've had for ages and then you can have it back. I promise. I've betad it in red as usual and then been through in GREEN with more thoughty type stuff.

Yeah there is. I'm glad you're looking forward to it. The delay has been because the chapter I had almost finished got eaten by my harddrive when my laptop crashed :(
