It appears my computer has somehow swallowed half of the fic I just finished. Seconds before I sent it to Razzle. Can everyone out there cross fingers/pray/whatever you do in the hope that the version she got sent was the complete one?

sylvan_lady is my new favourite person. I have FOUND THE FIC!

any chance it was saved as a *.tmp file lurking in your machine before it got gobbled? Word has done that to me a few times, and I've managed to recover it.

*bounces around really pleased* I nearly didn't post it 'cos I thought it was only a slim chance and then I'd be wasting your time. But I know how I'd feel if I lost a fic that was finished so I thought it was worth the risk *smiles for you*
