I'm having so much fun with this! And I love that there are people I love all over the world simultaneously getting frustrated and gleeful about it. Darcy and Arianne are amazing.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh so what are you doing for the rest of the day? Got a spare few thousand hours? theidentitycode A LOTR RPS puzzle solving fic-game. It's SO addictive.
You're loving this, aren't you. And the annoying this is that where I'm stuck now is, I'm sure, not a particularly complicated puzzle. I'm just waiting for the click in my head.
Well, I had the benefit of time zones on my side, so I can't be smug, really. After we've all completed it we can compare notes on what took us the longest and believe you me, I have some embarrassing examples of "omg you idiot" to share. :)
That would be fun. Mine current record for stupidity is the age it took me from solving the first puzzle to moving on... Everything else hasn't been too bad. Although I'm sure I'm missing something obvious at the moment!
Mine was extremely embarassing and I cannot give it away yet as it is towards the end. But I would have finished a good 3-4 hours sooner had I not been so dumb. :P
since you helped once before without being asked, thought Id actually ask this time.
*begs*
Im at the part where your *supposedly* to dial a number, or you choose to call or not. I chose to call, but it really dont have a place to enter numbers, but the little clue via the elvish mark says you really should call....um, is there like a real number Im supposed to be calling?? or am I like really off track all together and should just keep reading and forget that little tidbit bout dialing a number
It's a real phone number - which is why there's that bit with international codes. What it does is give you the answer to the next password so that you can skip the puzzle. It's equally possible to do it without (I had to because I can't call internationally from my mobile) but I've heard it's brilliant: so if you can call it might amuse you. The number is Viggo's number from the ad.
