Can't decide if I liked it. There were lots of bits I liked, but that was exactly the problem: it was all bits. The plot was very convoluted and to be honest I got lost - and I'm the kind of person who ALWAYS understands the plot and explains it to everyone else afterwards.
There wasn't enough Salma Hayek, Antonio Banderas didn't do enough acting and Johnny Depp stole the film and ran. Again.

I'd say yes. I did enjoy it even though the plot was almost irrelevant to my enjoyment. It's beautifully photographed, very atmospheric and the music is fantastic. Even my non-Johnny-fan friend said he was fantastic. I'm not sure it's one I'd buy, but I'm glad I've seen it.

I didn't have a problem following the plot - whether it made sense is another matter!

Did enoy it though! We also go a lot of laughs from it, I'm guessing some of the jokes go over your head if you're not latin? to be honest can't think of anywhere it makes a difference but we seemed to laugh at lots more than anyone else.

I laughed a lot. In some places I wasn't sure if it was meant to be funny because hardly anyone else was laughing but it just tickled something inside me. As to the plot - I think it got to the point where I didn't really care and stopped trying to follow it and just went with the flow instead - which for me is very unusual. To be honest, it didn't really matter because I enjoyed it anyway.
