Sep. 29th, 2003 07:07 pmI went to see 'The Hollow Crown' Royal Shakespeare Company production in Theatr Clwyd (No, that's not a spelling mistake - it's THEATR not Theatre) with Donald Sinden, Susannah York, Richard Johnson and Clive Francis with Stephen Gray as the musician.
To be honest, I wasn't sure if I'd like it, since there is no narrative other than the history of the English monarchy (yes English, not British. Being Welsh, I feel strongly that the two become blurred too often). Actually I found it very enjoyable, at times very funny and at others almost tragically poigniant. I especially liked the music.
