Just checking in to tell you I'm still alive. I had a 2 and a half hr delay on the train, which was crap, but got here safely.

We've been insanely booking things: going to the Globe in London on Monday and then on the Eurostar to Paris on Tuesday (we did actually look at flights to Venice for Weds, but they would have cost £70 and we can go for £8 in September).

So we decided to book a hotel and stay overnight in Paris instead.

I promise a post of pics when I get back.

Now I'm off to a Moroccan restaurant in Canterbury!

You realise I pass very close by the Globe on way to work & back & STILL never been in it for a show *shakes head* I will get to it eventually.

It was faboulous! You really should go. Although I'd advise getting a seat if you're willing to pay the extra because it was a long time to stand.

I guess it's one of those things isn't it? How you don't go to the touristy things in your own area. I know it's true of me both in Wales and in Cambridge.

You were a grounding (or a groundling? Damn, I wish I had someone else's memory. Anyone's better than mine)! I've visited the Globe, did the tour, couldn't afford the show. But just being there made me so grinny, it was scary.

And I know what you mean. I've not done many of the touristic things in Jerusalem. Never did the walls tour, never rode a camel... *remembers their smell* OK, there's a reason for the last one. ;D
