I believe you are experiencing a weird LJ outage. I couldn't see your entries earlier today, then I could, then I couldn't...

They were doing maintenance that made some journals read only for a while [happened to leggyslove this morning] and perhaps this is a side effect.

Yup, it's been refusing to sign me in because it was doing maintenance. Maybe that's it. Well I hope it sorts itself out soon!
