cfeng will probably be deleting his journal because a friend has realised he has an LJ account and has spent an absurd amount of time looking for him. While aware that she is unlikely to find him, he has decided that his is probably the best course of action.
Whether or not he'll be going for good is undecided. Also, he'll still be around, so you may well still get comments on non-friendslocked things.
