Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear *tears of mirth*

It appears the tagline for The Calcium Kid is "He doesn't just beat his opponents... he creams them".

*disolves*

Isn't it just too funny? How could that possibly pass through all the checks and meetings without someone picking it up?

They are all deluded. We are the sane ones that is why we can pick it up ;P

surely they picked it up at the beginning and passed it because it was so funny. anything with Orli and a tagline like that must be worth a ticket!

You reckon? It's a kid's film, though. I assumed it was meant just as a pun on fighting and being a milkman. I doubt that they'd leave something that suggestive as the tagline to something like this.

but if it's a kids' film, the reference would fly over their heads, whilst drawing in huge crowds of older (but not necessarily more mature) people who cracked up. I admit this is possibly the naive view, but if it's been done intentionally it is a very good marketing ploy.

You've not convinced me. I still don't think it was intentional. Stupid perhaps, but not intentional.

still don't see how it can be stupid - it can only increase the numbers wanting to see the film. but i'll submit to it not necessarily being intentional.

I meant stupid in that someone was stupid enough to approve it without thinking, not stupid in that it was a stupid tagline. And I'm not sure anyone would go see it for the tagline who wouldn't have already been going.
