Yes, you may treat me as if I am stupid. But since I've never been to either and I need to know the answer for a fic, I'm going to ask anyway.

Is the Pirates of the Carribean ride at DisneyWorld or DisneyLand?

Maybe both? I know I've been to DisneyWorld in Orlando (yeah...), and they had it there. Don't know about Anaheim, though.

World. Specifically, Magic Kingdom.

Great, thanks. Looks like I can use either without a problem

So I know you have your answer, but I just wanted to offer up that I've been to Disneyland quite a few times (most recently this past summer) and would be happy to help you with the geography of the park if you like.

(And the PotC ride was totally empty when I went, less than five minutes wait time, and this was the weekend BEFORE the movie came out. Which was kind of interesting anyway, because there were parts of the park blocked off as they were setting up for the premiere of the movie.)

Thanks. I don't really need detailed info, I just wanted to make sure that a character's throw-away comment wasn't incorrect.

(Is the ride any good?)

I know many for whom it's their favorite ride at the park. One of those is my four-year-old niece, the other is a 24-year old gov't guy who can't tell you what he does for a living, because then he'd have to kill you. I liked it loads when I was a kid, and now it's a bit like a trip down memory lane. I can tell you that being on the ride one week before the movie came out was really beneficial, because I caught a lot of scenes that were lifted directly from the ride that I might have missed otherwise.
