The post just arrived. My publication!!!!!!!!

OMG!!

Both the December and January issues of 'Cricket' Magazine. My story - half and half in each.

And they illustrated it. Such beautiful pictures. I'm so happy!!

Really!? I'd love to know what people think of it. It's something of a children's story, and I wrote it a while ago but it's still very close to my heart. It's called 'Snow Girl' (yeah, really original!)

You got it!? You have no idea how thrilled that makes me feel! Do you genuinely like it? - I need honest feedback if I'm going to improve.

I love the illustrations. I hadn't seen them until the magazine came out. But they are exactly right - someone did their research well! That picture of the landscape - that's what it looks like where I live.

I seriously liked it. I told my hubby about it and he wants to read it to, kinda like "Look hubby I sorta know her!" Although I must say going from reading what we write here then reading that was a...hmmm...how can I say it? A little shocking *grins* no sex damn *wink*

But it was really good, kinda spooky to. I'm so proud of you!!!

Hehe, yeah, it is a bit different to what we write here, huh!? I suppose you could slash Dr LL and his friend!
No, I had nothing to do with the pictures. I knew there would be some, but not what they'd be.
Tell your hubby I'm glad he enjoyed it. It's nice to hear from people who aren't my "friends and relatives" to whom my mother sent copies!
The other half will be in the January issue, which should be out soon since I've just received my copies.
