In other news, I'm really starting to like the idea of having a go at

tamingthemuse.

This would mean some fic (from any fandom I fancy, probably varying frequently) or original story every week.

I'm away next week, then starting my masters at the end of September, so I won't be starting until then and I've had a chance to assess the workload. But after that...

And then I have to decide about Nano 08 too, and whether I want to do that.

Wow, hadn't heard of that comm before. Thanks for linking it! I don't have the balls to actually try to write for it, but I friended it so I can at least read stuff there.

I only found it when I was searching around for a prompts comm that I liked (that was nice and broad about fandoms accepted, for example, so that I could write whatever I fancied at the time). But it looks like fun - I really ought to be able to write something over 500 words in a week.
