It's amazing how many things seem interesting when you are avoiding work. I've been flicking through the glossary of terms and abbreviations we were given on arrival at college.
Most of them I know already or can work out, but there are all sorts of bits of trivia.

eg: In Cambridge the weeks start on a Thursday. (well...obviously!)

but my favourite reads:
May Week - a fortnight (that's 2 weeks to you Americans) in June.

And they say this place is strange...

Hehehe... college makes little sense. I had a lecturer who kept going "If you can't hear what I'm saying, please tell me..." I wonder how he expected that to turn out...
