I hope they'll use what I call the "patented Peter Jackson method when it comes to extended versions": intercut them with the movie and not just having an extra feature of deleted scenes.

and i hope the extended editions/director's cut stuff becomes the norm. i've started looking at movies in the theatres just as if they were super-trailers ... and the real stuff is then in the DVDs.
