Only one more exam. So close to the end. Five more days and one more exam!

They were talking about Harry Potter again in the common room, speculation and anticipation. But they don't quite seem to feel the nostalgia, the apprehension. In two days the fandom world we know and love will change irrevocably. Maybe I will be filled with a new need to write, maybe I will be disillusioned and will slowly drop away from the fandom. Either way, it will bring a huge change.

I'm looking forward so desperately to OotP and yet dreading it as well. Carefully structured hopes could collapse so easily.

I have faith that it will be a good change. I just have my fingers crossed desperately to save the lives of Draco and Snape. She might think that they are expendible, but I don't!!

I think this is it. By the next time I post I will know. That might be for the best, with squees of delight.

Here's hoping!

Okay. So I said I wouldn't post.

But I just saw Jeremy Paxman's interview with JKR (don't worry - no spoilers will be on this post - if you want to discuss it leave me a note)and I am now in a much better frame of mind.

Yup, I'm still anxious but there's a lot more looking forward to the book than there was a few hours ago.

And she didn't give anything away, although her evasions were interesting.

And she mentioned that she goes online to see what people think and that no one has worked it out yet although a few are quite close. Hmmm. Strange to think that she might be reading through our musings on FictionAlley Park etc.
