I was cheering Cambridge on and was gutted that they lost. :(

Then I noticed the good looking blokes in both teams and perked up a bit.. :snuggles:

Ugh, indeed. Crappity crap. Well at least they lost fairly: they just weren't as fast.

(and yeah, I know. Pity Andrew Shannon wasn't in the Cambridge boat. He's the president of the Cambridge Blues but didn't make the final eight. And he's just a little bit purty. But we have to watch what we say - my friend was in our boathouse drooling over him and our coach (who was the boatrace cox last year) turned around and said "Andrew? Hehe, you want his number?". You should have seen my friend turn pink. Our poor coach finds it very amusing though, he's patient when we swoon about his friends)

Yes they were - that was Cambridge blue. When they were getting in the boats - that was the Cambridge splashtop. I guess it's a kind of blue-grey. When it's a blazer it's more aqua coloured. But that's the colour of the blades too.

And yeah, they lost because they weren't as good. It was that simple.

So that's Cambridge blue?

At least it was a good, clean match. No clashes. Although the barbarian in me is always up for a good clash ¬_¬

*mumblemumble ACER NETHERCOTT mumble mumble BASTARD mumble mumble* No, no clashes this year, despite the fact the wanker was coxing Oxford again. The umpires say it was his fault and Kenelm, the Cambridge cox last year, (even when really drunk) maintains he did nothing wrong last year.

Yeah, Cambridge Blue is a pale blue. Sort of greeny-grey blue.

I'm glad to see this isn't a sore spot for you or anything.
