Sunlight

He envies the sunlight because it makes Orlando smile as he goes outside. He envies the sunlight its freedom to touch, to caress those cheekbones and highlight the curls in that dark hair.
He envies the way the sunlight can make Orlando crinkle his eyes adorably, and the fact it makes him strip off his shirt, the rays that finger Orlando’s bare torso, that cast tiny shadows from his nipples and the collection of trinkets hanging round his neck.
But on the rainy day when Orlando kisses him, he pities the sunlight its lack of ability to feel this joy.
