Fanfic walls

It seems this fandom exists to break down anything I set up as a barrier. Anything I say I won't read I end up reading.

slash Blame [livejournal.com profile] iscaris and Irresitible Poison.
RPS [livejournal.com profile] iscaris again. It was Johnny/Orlando.
Smut Don't remember the first one. Suffice to say that wall's gone.
Incest [livejournal.com profile] stewardess_lotr gets the award for smashing that wall down.

and now.
Wingfic. Didn't I say I didn't like it just a couple of weeks ago? Well first [livejournal.com profile] abundantlyqueer wrote one a while ago that I thought was quite beautiful. Now [livejournal.com profile] razzleslash and [livejournal.com profile] darknight999 have posted them within hours of each other.

My foundations are shaking.

The one wall left is MPreg. And I've already agreed to [livejournal.com profile] cfeng's challenge to write one of my own. But I won't like the genre dammit. I've got to have some restrictions!

Okay, I have an mpreg for you. Remember you do have to kind of go with it, but it's funny and sweet, and in three parts, and the only disclaimer is that it's NC-17 and thus at restrictedsection.org. You have to register to see it, but it's like registering at FA or ffnet.

Careless (http://www.restrictedsection.org/load/story.shtml?/2/careless.html) by Adrienne.

Careful (http://www.restrictedsection.org/load/story.shtml?/2/careful.html) by Adrienne, the sequel to Careless.

And lastly, Caring (http://www.restrictedsection.org/load/story.shtml?/2/caring.html) by Adrienne, the last in the series.

Come on, mpreg can be awfully funny ... can't you like something more benign, like Harry/Ginny or something?

Hmmm... I'll probably read that when I get the time. I think it's the humour I don't like though, I don't "get" it.
