Happy Birthday, [livejournal.com profile] dmbdragonfly! You're ancient now. I hope that you never behave like a responsible adult. Watch this space for a birthday present later today. I have to write it first!

Change of supervisor so it appears I'm going to be studying Ancient Greece this term in place of Rome as I was previously told. This is both good and bad. Bad because Rome would have helped with Borderland (am I shallow or what?) but good because I haven't studied Greece for years and it's fascinating.

(and it means I don't get the annoying supervisor. I don't know this new guy to compare, but not having the other one is bound to be a good thing!)

ETA: Now that I've thought about it, I quite like the idea of studying Greece again. And it sounds like I might be able to do a bit of both anyway.

ETA2: I've just got my first essay. I finished my exams three hours ago and now they're setting me more work. Remind me why I wanted to study here?

I'm not starting tonight. The rest of today is for my leisure: ie, slash

happy birthday Darcy!

Birthday fic for [livejournal.com profile] dmbdragonfly:

It was going to be smut. Then, (surprise, surprise!) it acquired a plot. Then it degenerated into smut anyway.

I decided to write you a fantasy, Darc

Unbetad because I wanted to post it tonight. I apologise for the fact that it sucks (and not in a good way :P). My only excuse is exhaustion.

Because I've been ignoring all the recent memes I've decided to steal this one from [livejournal.com profile] finduilas_clln:

Tell the listening audience your favorite memory of me. When you first met me, when I did something stupid, something I've said, etc... And then post the query to *your* Journal...
